Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19-07-2026

Anchor is built around one principle: this is a private space. This page explains exactly what data the app collects, why, and how to remove it.

Short version: Anchor collects the minimum needed to make the app work — an anonymous account ID, your streak and check-in data, and an optional email if you choose to link one. We never sell your data, never show ads, and never share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

What we collect

What we don't collect

How your data is used

Your data is used solely to run the app's features — showing your streak, syncing your progress across devices if you link an account, and displaying the anonymous leaderboard. We do not use your data for advertising, and Anchor does not display ads.

Where your data is stored

Data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication), a widely used cloud infrastructure provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Firebase's standard security practices.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: Profile → Delete my account and data. This permanently removes your streak history, check-ins, tasks, and account from our systems. This action cannot be undone.

Third parties

Anchor uses the following third-party services, solely for core app functionality:

Children

Anchor is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 17.
